FLEABUSTERS Rx for Fleas POWDER
Traditionally, foggers and liquid spray pesticides have been used for FLEA
CONTROL on the inside of your HOUSE. Most of these products have had a history of
mixed results at best. Several years ago a safe and highly effective product
called Fleabusters Rx for Fleas Plus Powder became available. Pet owners in
our practice that have used this product to control fleas rave about their
results. Fleabusters Rx for Fleas is a chemical called Sodium Polyborate.
It has an extremely low toxic level (on the order of table salt). Rx for
Fleas Powder works by dehydrating fleas, flea larvae and flea eggs in
the carpet and floor cracks of your home. These areas are normally an
ideal environment for flea development. Foggers and liquid spray insecticides
need to be applied every 2-3 months to be effective. One application of
Rx for Fleas Powder will last 12 months and longer even with frequent
vacuuming. It will not stain your carpets or furniture either, so you
can feel completely safe in using it. The recommended application rate
is 1 pound per 300 square feet and is supplied in 3-pound application
jars.
Important Considerations
1. It is recommended that dust-sensitive individuals not be present during
treatment.
2. Depending on the level of infestation, you may see residual adult flea
activity for 2-6 weeks following application. If such activity occurs,
more frequent vacuuming is recommened.
3. Remove bags from vacuum cleaner immediately after vacuuming and dispose
of bags. This should be done for at least 4 weeks following application.
4. Reapplication is necessary following cleaning of treated carpets and/or
rugs.
